Problems with Authentication

I used Visual Studio's copy project to copy a web application from our
development box to a QA box. Everything is working fine on the dev box
but for some reason I can't log in on QA. Im using a mix between
Windows Authenticaton and forms authentication. Basically it just uses
a windows authentication but instead of popping up an ugly windows form
to enter the username and password im passing those values through the
use of a web form. any help will be greatly appreciated.
