Hi all,

I am doing my M.Tech Degree in VLSI Design.
I have taken the task of implementing the REED SOLOMON DECODER in FPGA
as my project.

1) Whether i can just implement a Reed solomon decoder
or shall i target it to some applications like HDTV,modems,CD-Rom etc.

2) If so to what specification and standards should i start
with.

3) where will i get specification for a reed solomon decoder?.


I require u'r help as soon as possible.
