Pyrex list is down

I hate mailing lists anyway. I'd much rather use Usenet.

So why don't you just run a local news-server and filter any mailing list
messages through to locally generated newsgroups? That's what I do: I'm a
windows user so I use Hamster to amalgamate several external news servers
and all my mailing lists into a single local news server.

Because it doesn't provide what Usenet does - a consistent
interface that everyone can efficiently use (to read and to
search).

Give your newsreader an account for news.gmane.org and subscribe to
gmane.comp.python.pyrex. There are news-gated versions of about 50 python
related mailing lists.

Please be more careful with you attributions. I quoted that, but I didn't
write it.
