Anybody language can have a Canyon or a Gorge, but a Debris Basin is

These are silly comparisons. Mother Nature doesn't know anything about
programming language design. Please, let's ask the musicians:

Title Occurrences
Python 5
Ruby 215

'nuff said.

For those of you unfamiliar with the engineering wonder that is the Los
Angeles County Flood Control System, a Debris Basin is not a natural
phenomenon. It's a steel and concrete structure whose purpose is to keep
rocks that fall off mountains from burying overpriced houses. The Ruby
Canyon Debris Basin, in particular, performs this essential function for
*my* overpriced house.

Ah, a kind of sophisticated garbage collection, eh? Useful to all of us!
