Hi all,
is by now anybody using "User Interface Process (UIP) Application Block
- Version 2.0"?
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnpag/html/uipab-ch01.asp
I think this looks quite promising and am considering using it in a
current project. However, I'd like to know in advance from people
experienced with this application block, if there are pitfalls, as we're
on a rather tight schedule.
Our application already uses a single default.aspx with included *.ascx
user controls, and from Peter Jacksons posting 04.05.2004 23:53 (HELP -
Using UIP App. Block for .aspx Pages that Contain .ascx User Controls) I
assume that this means I'll have to implement my own WebUserControlView.
Are there any other things I might have to watch out for?
I'm not planning to use any of the "persist sessions" features (so that
sessions can be resumed later). We're using an Oracle database... ah:
and this is an ASP.NET only application (no WinForms...)
kind regards,
david
