Regular C Programming Contest

K

Kunal

Hi,
Are there any places where they have regular ( mabbe weekly ) C
programming contests. I make embedded systems and sometimes I wont
program for months and then do some intense programming. In the months
I dont program I would like to keep my skills sharpened with some kind
of contest. Seeing other people implement things more efficiently would
also help me learn more.

Thanks
Kunal

Sounds like your the man for the job.
What is our First contest.

And on a not so (@#$) note:

The hardest thing for a person, people, or nation to do is to chalenge
themselves, and especially from the seat of Victory.

There are a lot of companies sponsoring a lot of competitions. Some offer
Cash awards, others offer prestige. Look around. There are a lot of Linux
based cash award chalenges out there and god knows we need to breed the Win
out, or sorry the MS out of the heard.

Take a good look at www.topcoder.com/tc, you might also be interested

If you have any specific questions about these sites, please email me
(they're off-topic here).

Try Circuit Cellar Ink Magazine. Many embedded CPU manufactures have
contests with their new chip advertised in the Magazine (With Prizes).
