(repost): clientcallback - atlas - ajax.net: which one?

Hi,

i want to use ajax in my application, but i saw there are a lot of
possibilities.
What to choose among clientcallback, atlas or ajax.net (anthem, magicajax) ?
It seems that ajax.net is easy to install /use.

Thanks for advice (pro's / contra's)

Personally, I prefer Anthem.net because it is simple, you can easily
extend
it, and it preserves the stateful ASP.NET page state as does ATLAS (MS
Ajax).

What's the cross-browser / cross-platform support like with Anthem these
days? Last I heard, it wouldn't work with Safari (on the Mac, obviously) or
Opera on any platform...

Thanks for that - couldn't find any specific info on cross-browser /
cross-platform support, though, other than the home page which says that
it's "cross-browser"...

And their website really could do with a bit of an audit...

AFAIK, AJAX.NET uses external handlers for the callbacks and thus should
be
avoided.

Yep. I know they've just put out some nice additions to the anthem
extensions
so it isn't surprising they haven't updated the pages. Who do you think
they,
are Hertz?
