Resetting Crosshair without Refreshing Browser

I am getting stuck on how to resetting the crosshair on this map after
the data is loaded into the database. The map works as follows:
1) A user zooms into an area they want to mark as a speedtrap
2) The user uses "Shift+ Left Mouse Click" to bring up the crosshair.
The user centers the crosshair over the area of the speedtrap.
3) The user fills out the forum below.
4) After they press "Add Speed Trap" the map reloads and the user gets
a message that the speed trap has been added.
5) The problem lies where once the map refreshes, you can not "shift +
Left Mouse Click" to bring the crosshair back up again.

Nevermind.. Figured it out. Left out a null.
