Retrieve XML document from web service

Hello-

I currently have a web service that retrieves an entire XML document....I
would like to create other functions within the web service that just
retrieves portion of the XML document based upon a given element. I think
you can do this using XPath expressions, but my VB syntax in this area is
not too sharp...

Any advice how to make this happen?
