Hi,

I've been trying to get ruby going on my windows CE device, but I can't get it to compile correctly. Has anyone here managed to get Ruby going on a windows CE device? I know there are some binaries on http://uema2.s8.xrea.com/ruby-mswince/, but none of those run on any of my devices...

Kind regards,

Wim

I have it running on a Jornada 720 (ARM-based, WinCE 3.0 H/PC Pro)
using those binaries. Unless you have a command-line shell you'll
want to download the WinCE Plus! pack for your machine, install the
file association tool and associate ruby scripts with either ruby.exe
or rubyw.exe so they launch from the explorer shell.

Does tk work using those binaries? And sockets?
Thanks for your advice. I'll try it againg with the hpc 2k version, I have a MobilePro 900c, which runs .NET 4.2.

I haven't tried sockets due to lack of a compatible network card and
my eyes are allergic to Tk ;)
