I found a reference at:

http://www.ruby-doc.org/doxygen/current/index.html

but this documentation is just a API function listing
without documentation and without tutorial ...

Q: does I miss something ?

I rarely use the Doxygen documentation. The most helpful places I refer
to are:

1) The chapter on extensions in the pick-axe as linked to above
2) The readme.ext file bundled with MRI.
