can you guys help me out in this one,

how can i configure a ruby source code of a website so that it
can run in my local machine?

Have you looked at InstantRails or Locomotive?

Otherwise, you would install ruby, mysql (or db of choice), then install
rails. email me off list if you need some more detailed instructions.
