Run a StandAlone Application from a CD?

I created a simple application that allows a user to choose a foxpro free table. The program writes the location of the table to the user's local drive. What I want to know, is it possible to run a .net application from a CD rewriteable? I want to be able to put the executable on a cd so that the user can just run the executable from the CD and not install the entire application on their workstation, is this possible? Please help....

User will have to have the .net framework installed on their machine, even
if you run it from CD.
