I am new to this forum.i got through the SCJP with 86 %. i need some
resources for SCWCD exam. i deside to not to go to any other class
(coz they are really expensive in poor 3rd world developing country )&
do it by my self. Is it possible to do a such a exam alone ? Are there
any free exam guide pdf s which i can download ? pls help me

Hi,

I passed the SCWCD exam without having any professional java
experience. I used just one book to learn the material. It was called
SCWCD Exam Study Kit (Deshmuhk et al) published by Manning. However I
also bought the Sun Practice exam online which costs almost as much as
the exam. I'm sure I wouldn't have passed first time without the
practice exam. It covers everything in depth and the questions are very
similar to the real exam. Good Luck.

When I took it, the Web Component Developer was only multiple-choice
where you would pass if you knew the Servlet and JSP specs - including
the web.xml format - by heart. No experience necessary.
