Hello,
I've speant the past couple months reading off and on about the use of
roles & memberships in ASP.NET sites, using the role providers, etc.
However, the largest problem that I've been having reading all this
information, code smaples, etc, it that it is 95% focused on external
internet applications, using Forms Authentication, with a SQL
membership provider (or the like). Between all the other work that
I've been trying to get accomplished, I really haven't had the time to
look at how to interpret all this information and figuere out what
applies to an AD/Windows Integrated environment, what doesn't, and
what needs to be changed.
I'm curious if anyone know some good top to bottom tutorials, books,
etc. that are focused on an intranet environment that can help show me
what is available, what isn't, and how to implement so I can build a
re-design of our intranet from.
Thanks,
Evan M.
