Seeking tech reviewers for the O'Reilly Ruby Cookbook

With a huge amount of help from the Ruby community at large, Lucas
Carlson and I have nearly completed the first draft of the Ruby
Cookbook. To revise the draft, we need even more help, in the form of
feedback: people to read the recipes, spot our mistakes and failures to
communicate, and let us know about good references for the concepts
described.

We've already got good feedback from people who bought electronic
copies of the book through Rough Cuts, from people who'd previously
emailed Lucas and me asking to be reviewers, and from contributors who
wanted to help out after they'd finished their recipes. I'd like to get
a few more reviewers into the book's CMS/wiki: poking around, trying
out the recipe code, sending us feedback and suggested edits.

We've got a month to do revisions, from March 15 to April 15. We want
to make best use of that time by starting from a huge body of feedback.
If you're interested, send me mail and let me know which email address
(if any) you use for your oreilly.com account, so we can set you up on
the wiki. We'll send each reviewer a free copy of the book and thank
them in the Acknowledgements.

Also feel free to mail me if you have any other questions about the
book.

I'd like to try to help out--I'm pretty new to Ruby (started trying to learn
something over a year ago, took a hiatus, am back again), so maybe I'll have
a fresh viewpoint in looking over the material. (I'm usually pretty good at
spotting unclear language and similar, and would probably attempt to try at
least some of the recipes.)

Actually, what would be nice is to get access to the wiki (and book) to see
what it's like and to see if I think I can contribute anything.

Is there anything available to look at before March 15?

AFAIK, I don't have an oreilly.com account, but would prefer to use my gmail
address: (e-mail address removed). Do I need to go to oreilly.com and register?
(I just registered at oreillynet.com, with that email address and rhkramer as
a screen name--working on verifying my email address.)

I'd be tempted to start at the beginning with my review until I get bored,
then skip ahead to interesting sections--do you have any sections in
particular that you feel need review?
