Server.Transfer and Context.Handler cause my popup to revert to the calling page?

I am using: Server.Transfer("Main.aspx")
and also: MyPopUp fp = (MyPopUp)Context.Handler;

the data transfers over fine but after it transfers the PopUp becomes the
Main.aspx page. Is there any way to stop this or trap for this. Any help
appreciated.
