Siimple question ???

Dear all,

I am new on ASP world and I am actrually study it for an exam.
Base on that still a black point comes to my mind each time.

Does it sounds stupid to you on using a WebService which collect different
type of iinformation from an SQL database compare to a shared assembly ? this
running on an intranet.

One point to consider is that any change you make internally to how your
methods work requires a redeployment in the shared assembly scenario.
With the web service the change happens on the server.

yes that true,

But except that do you thing implementing this database access as web
service is something logic in desing point of view...
