streaming media authentication.

hi All,
I am trying to come up with an application which can protect media
files, and stream them to the user once the user is authenticated. I
want the application managed authentication.

I did some google on it, but could not find any specific examples, would
be great if anyone could provide a good starting point. The application
would use windows media server for streaming videos.

Needless to say, any help would be much appreciated.
