Hi folks,
I am looking for a script that will allow me to type XML code into [what
appears to be] a HTML textarea, but with the code highlighted according
to its syntax.
It doesn't need to be anything particularly fancy (ie. it doesn't need
to support tabbing etc), but something with basic syntax highlighting
and possibly line numbering/wrapping. I would like to be able to edit
the text after it has been highlighted, so the ability to react in
realtime to changes made to the XML is required. Basically it should
work exactly like a textarea would normally.
Does anyone know of a script that can do this, or if not, does anyone
have any suggestions as to how I might achieve this? I am not that good
with javascript myself, but with the right pointers I could probably
make an [half-arsed] attempt
Cheers,
