The Design screen cannot display properly

I have made a webcontrol based on Label, and it works as intended,
exept for when it is added into an ItemTemplate in a DataGrid.

The Design screen cannot display properly and displays an error message
"There was an error rendering the Control" in place of the grid.

The prolem is only for the designer. Does anyone the solution?
