twisted.protocols.sip

Hello:

I'm new to Python and Twisted but not new to
programming. I need to create a test tools to
send and receive Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
messages. I understand twisted.protocols.sip
offers this capability but I cannot get a demo
program to work. Does anyone have a basic
example program they can share?

Look at shtoom - http://shtoom.sf.net/. It's
hardly a 'basic example program', but it's
instead a framework for SIP.
