Type Library Version

Hi,
the version of our product is moving from 2.9 to 2.95. So the
version in the IDL for the components has been udpated to 2.95. When
the DLL is registered the type library appears in the registry with a
version of 2.5F before the original 2.9 entry. Is there any way of
preventing the version being converted to HEX or does the fact that
it's HEX not matter?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Karen

I searched the C++ book by Stroustrup, the C++ FAQ and the
ANSI/ISO specification and the only topic related to "type"
was the variable types. I couldn't find anything about
"DLLs".

I believe you need to research in a newsgroup dedicated
to your platform or compiler.
