I would like to ask if anyone knows any recruitment agencies in the UK
worth recommending which specialized in IT recruitment or if there is
any better way of finding job in IT.

At the moment I am c++ programmer working in derby but as I worked as a
unix administrator before (in Poland) i do not really know how to find
more appropriate job here.

I have got Master of Science degree (with distinction) in databases and
computer network from Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice, Poland)

If anyone could give me any advice I would be grateful.

Agencies work for _clients_, not people. Don't waste your time
registering with them. Instead have a CV (good, well-written, and
relevant to the job you want) and search Jobserve regularly. Email CVs
to agents with relevant jobs, then phone them.
