unpacking SAP data

Hi,

I'm using DBI and DBD to read a long Oracle field packed by SAP into
table MONI. I've got the field read, but am having problems unpacking
it. I am attempting to use unpack to accomplish this, but am having
difficulty identifying the appropriate template.

Has anyone already been down this path? Any suggestions would be
welcome.

Check CPAN for SAP modules. There are pages and pages of them, but I
know nothing about the product so can't tell whether or not they can
help you.
