I am using a DropDownList in my web page. I simply need to put the text of
the selected index into a sql query, when the user click a save button. The
problem is that the change of text in the DropDownList does not occur unless
AutoPostBack = True. My problem is, as soon as the page is in PostBack mode
all other changes done are set to the initial values. Is it a smart way to
deal with this problem? Do I need to store changes temporary within the
session, or is it posible to initiate a change in the DropDownList without
PostBack?
