Very slow audio performance in JDK 1.5

Hi all,

An application which uses sample audio runs well in JDK 1.4 but
it seems that JDK 1.5 can't cope with the needed speed.
( gaps and other disturbances in audio-playback)

Is this a known issue?
I reverted to JDK 1.4, but I'd love to use those new
language extensions of JKD 1.5
