Has anyone had any problems running both Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 on the
same machine (in this case running Vista )?

Is it essential to install vs2005 first?

Is there a reason you want to run both?

I'm running them both with no problems.

The OS is irrelevant for the purpose.

It is, because the 2005 docs won't install correctly if 2008 is installed first.
Otherwise, it's OK ( which really isn't OK ).

Yes, if you have to do SQL Server 2005 RS report design. If you also need to
do SQL Server2000 RS reportdesign, you also need VS2003 installed!
