vs2005 reformating my html - Why

I've been using vs2005 a long time and today, all of a sudden, it begings to
reformat the code in my aspx page. It removes all of my carriage returns so
my whole page is one line and it capitalizes all of my tags - causing them
to flag as errors. but the project still compiles ok.

Anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

There's an option in the environment that you can check to tell it to stop
doing that, options -> environment
