Hello all,
I had previously posted in m.p.d.f.compactframework, but my app is WAP,
not CF, so I was probably posting in the wrong forum.
I am developing a C# WAP application for phones (various models to be
supported), and I'm looking for a way to run it either directly on my
own phone via a usb cable connection, or through an emulator. Is this
possible?
I can run the application on my PocketPC connected via ActiveSync, but
it is important to test directly on a phone rather than PocketPC. The
cost is beginning to mount up, having to connect to the server via GPRS
everytime I want to test something on the phone rather than IE.
I've tried using the Microsoft Mobile Explorer, but I get an
Authentication Failure "The server requires a method of authentication
this browser does not support". I've also tried WinWap, but I get "Not
WML content". But the application runs perfectly when I connect to the
server via external GPRS connection!
Thanks,
Sharon.
