I don't know about pydoc.org - but seems like its a private site.

I had it bookmarked and I had used it for quite a while...

On that side try the link "pydoc online" (after "pyhelp.cgi").
That's the one of those I bookmarked.

It is probably a server misconfiguration. Ka-Ping Yee is the inventor of
Python's pydoc and has run a server for it. Either he accidentally
copied the wrong index.html to the wrong virtual server or he decided he
couldn't afford the bandwidth anymore.
