Why is CreateChildControls called when a dropdownlist (of a composite control) selected index has ch

That sums it up. When any of the dependent dropdown lists get their selected
index changed (by user interaction) there is a new invocation of the
composite control's CreateChildControl which then basically resets some
things. Very strange behaviour, really thinking of junking the whole thing.
If there is a good ASP.NET C# example of dependend drop down lists let me
know.

Oh well, didn't find anything suitable on the internet (only old ASP
examples which is not what I needed). Ditched the whole thing and started
anew, now it works.
