Yes, it is so good, it's probably the
most widely used programming language
on the planet. Impressive, huh?
why not use it,

I don't know, why not? I use it quite
frequently, usually every day. Thousands
(millions?) of other people do, too.
why use C++,

If you cannot find any reasons to use it, then don't use it.
I sometimes use it (and several other languages), for reasons
which seem credible to me. This in no way implies any pressure
or obligation for you to use it, or for me to justify my use
of it to you or anyone else.

Good operating system, good programming language.
So program away. What's the problem? Are you
simply (dare I say it?) trolling?

BTW only C is topical here, not C++ or any other language.
Language comparisons are not topical here either.

Greetings.

Then it might have been better for you to have responded in that thread
rather than starting a new one.. Posting replies as new threads,
especially when you don't quote anything from the original message, can
lead to a lot of confusion. Just for future reference. :)

C++ seems a more natural choice for certain types of applications. This is
especially true for GUIs, which are more easily thought of in terms of
classes and objects (screens, buttons, forms, etc.). Aside from the
object-oriented part of C++, a lot people use C++ as simply a "better" C.
It provides some very handy enhancements such as passing variables by
reference, function overloading, default function paramaters, very tight
type-checking and many other handy features.

i am not comparing the two language,

No, your message did not compare any languages
at all. It simply conveyed your opinion that
a single language, C, is a "good language".
I agreed, and wondered what motivated you to
say that to a group of people already known
to be interested in C.

Please write your messages in English here, not in
some childish abbreviations which some (especially
those whose native language is not English) might
not understand, and others might misunderstand.

I suppose that "bcoz sb" means "because somebody"
said
"why use C? why not use C++"

Yes, somebody said that in some other thread, which
I or anyone else might or might not have seen. It
might not even appear on my server, or perhaps I
simply did not read it.

If you want to respond to what "somebody says", please
use basic netiquette, and post your reply to that specific
message in which he said it, preserving context.
i am objecting it:)

I hope that means you are stating your opposing opinion,
not objecting to the fact that he expressed his, which
he has every right to do.

You presented your opinion without context, the same
as if you'd walked into a room full of people talking
about apples, and announced "I like to eat apples".

So of course I'd expect replies to be something like
"Oh, that's nice", "so do we", or perhaps simply
"so what?"

We're all here to discuss (and often argue about :))
C, we care not at all about convincing anyone of its
merits or deficiences. If asked about them, we'll
share our opinions but won't try to force them upon
others (I'm not saying that you tried to, I don't
think you did).

BTW, please don't top post.

Please speak in an actual language, not some form of 5th grade
playground jabber. Preferably English, although Spanish or
French would be preferable to the gibberish above.

This is an obvious troll. Please ignore it.

It absolutely is not a troll. It's a message from
someone who doesn't seem to understand Usenet very
well, as is quite evident from a subsequent message
from him in this thread. This is very far from being
a troll.

/That/ is indeed an obvious troll. I don't suppose it's occurred to you that

Come now, honestly, you can't possibly believe that you are.

And I mean that, if you do then stop it right now!

Wasn't ERT's "This" intended to be self-referential? That's how *I* read it.
He wasn't trying to make up anyone's mind. He was simply identifying himself
clearly and unambiguously. And I thank him for it.

If so, wouldn't it mean that "This" is a troll, which it is not?!?
Or that the whole sentence is a troll, which it is not?!?

And that's another. Good answer, M. Magritte.
