Win TV, UDP TCIP

WinTV Nova T, and presumably other WinTV DVB Cards appear to use UDP
to view tv and other, i was wondering if anyone knows anything about
the way it works, and/or if anyone knows how to interface to it,
because the software is flaky at best, and does anyone know about the
remote control interface + teletext.

is there a way of for example trying to trich say windows mediaplayer
into believing its a multicast?

anything along these lines would be very useful.

you missed my point of which looking back, was with a view to coding
C++ as an adavanced c++ perspective.
