Windows installer

I just noticed that, while there's an ri.bat in the ruby bin directory,
there is no equivalent rj.bat file.

I don't know how much is in rj these days that's not in ri, but I assume
it must be of value, since it's included in the distribution.

Cheers,

rj is not part of the core ruby distribution, why do you expect it to
be part of the ruby installer ?

Ah. It's just that I noticed an "rj" shell script in the directory
where I installed the latest version using the Windows installer.

It was probably just left over from me having installed rj separately
some time back. Presumably, the installer doesn't wipe the install
directory first ... which makes sense, since you wouldn't want to wipe
out things people had installed themselves (rj being an example of that).

Sorry for the confusion.

nevermind :)
I agree that this is a nice choice, I as pleased to still have
RSS::parser instaled after I updated ruby.

Even if I noticed that the installer issued the same warning
("existing ruby installation, overvrite?") two times instead of the
expected one, because the process is:
- choice dir (warning)
- the installer itself adds '\ruby' to the chosen path
- I remved the path (warning)

I believe the first warning should be avoided, or the second step
removed.
