Write on VEMap display??

I want to write the LatLong on the vemap display. I've looked at all the map
functions and do not see anything that might help.

Since the display uses a div element I tried setting the InnerHtml to some
text but that removed the map.

I wonder if it is possible to simply tell the html to write in a certain
place on the display even if that is on top of something already displayed
there
