WYSIWYG editor - restrict formatting?

Hi, Is it possible to restrict the formatting of a WYSIWYG editor to
simple tags like bold, italic, etc? I have a working editor using
iframes on my site but users are pasting in text from word and other
programs so there's a lot of stray code floating around. not to mention
hyperlinks!

It depends on what WYSWIG editor you're using (I am assuming that we are
dicussing a form textfield editor). I'm sure some of them can be
configured. You may want to check out the one at

prompt the user that is will remove bad code.
