Chris
I have an ASP.NET 2.0 web app that has 3rd party .dll references within the
bin folder.
I use the .dlls to access classes, methods, etc.
Ive deployed this web application to several windows 2003 32bit servers with
no problem. Everything works fine.
When I installed on a 64 bit machine and setup IIS to run in 32 bit mode,
the pages that access the 3rd party .dlls blow up.
[ex error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an
indication that other memory is corrupt.]
Again, I'm trying to run in 32 bit mode thinking that these .dlls can only
be used in 32 bit mode for the web app, but they do not work when the app is
setup to run in 32 bit or 64 bit mode in IIS.
Any help appreciated.. I've been searching the web for answers all day.
Thanks.
