xml integrated development environments

Hello,

I'm searching for an integrated development environment to use as an
alternative to XML Spy, and I was hoping that the gentlepeople of this
list would share some of their opinions and expertise.

Is there a good freeward IDE available for XML?

Is there any freeware IDE available for XML?

Do the producers of the product offer any sort of support?

Does anyone here have any experience with these freeware products?

I guess my best case hope for a solution here would be an opensource
IDE, something sort of Linux-esque. Right now though, I'm just
looking for input.

Thanks for the bandwidth,
Frank
