Better console for Windows?

does anyone know of a way to scroll a Command Prompt window using the keyboard?

Alt-spacebar, e, l, (uparrow/downarrow)*, Esc
(lower case L)--^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^--does the scrolling. Esc ends the scrolling mode.
