file permissions on windows?

I want to know that can we have permissions in windows as we have in
linux so that no one edits files with your permission?Since all header
files in C are editible at least on my machine

Off topic since it doesn't even deal with programming, and no the fact
that you are trying to make C header files read-only does not
constitute a programming or C question. Try a windows group
(comp.os.ms-windows.*)

Hi, good, the maximum that you go to obtain will be to place the
archive as "only reading" marking checkbox in the properties of the
archive but any one will be able to remove this attribute. The Windows
does not possess an archive system that makes this type of control the
user level.

This is a question about Windows, not about C. As such, it's
off-topic here. Try comp.os.ms-windows.misc -- and be sure to tell
them what version of Windows you're using.
