Hi,

I'm just curious.

What editors do you guys use for web development in the Linux environment?

I'm mainly interested in XHTML, CSS, PHP and Perl.

I've played around with Quanta, Vim, Xemacs, Kate etc.. but never really
settled on anything.

Chris

I am an advocate of the vi and vim editors, but when doing my html I
tend to use bluefish, but as of late have been tending to use jext (
jext.org ). Jext is a java based editor that has syntaxing for dozens
of different languages, including HTML, PHP, and Perl. Check it out!

Are you using Quanta Gold or the Quanta that gets bundled with KDE?
Yep, Quanta gold (as part of the Kompany's range of software) is a complete
from the ground up rewrite.

I'll revisit that one then I think.
Have you had a play with it?
