Novice array size

To start, size may not be big enough. An int must hold at numbers
at least as large as 32767. When you need larger numbers, try
long.

Two people (Han and me) already commented on that, the first over 17
hours before you suggested it. The OP replied less than an hour later
with evidence that int is indeed big enough, so that cannot be the problem.

His free NSP may have a very bad feed, but I doubt it. I suspect he
has a bad bout of hit send before engaging brain.

His Usenet provider is the same as mine. It becomes overloaded and
inaccessable every now and then, but otherwise the feed is quite good.

Have you not figured out Falconer's cherry picking technique? What I
find amazing is he thinks he's actually offering a service to the great
unwashed.
