ruby-gnome2 : problem with signal "insert-text"

Hum good :)
I will add you in my friend list :p
I develop my own editor two.
I want a textmate-like (textmate from mac).

My editor will be release.. in... two years ;-)

I have start since 3 days :)

Hello,

this is kinda weird, I'm trying to develop an editor, too. But instead
of the TextView, I use the GtkSourceView. It comes with a lot of
syntax highlighting, so that's kinda nice.

I think that I'll make a webpage for it soon, so that people can
download it, to take a look. I don't have much time at the moment, so
my editor will probably be finished in 2014 or something.

The weird thing is that I also wanted to created a TextMate-like
editor (but for linux). It's features will include, the dynamic file
outline, syntax highlighting, tabs, and the code completion stuff, for
at least some languages. Of these, only tabs and syntax highlighting
work.

Just sharing,
Peter

It was cool to think about it in your example. I'm not in a hurry to
get this working, though. What I have is good enough for me (a simple
working editor)... But, I still need to provide full syntax
highlighting... hehe.

take a look at ruvi. and gruvi.
they have full and sane syntax
highlighting based on aeditor's
lexer and my own additions to get
the syntax highlighting more vim
like (as i love vim's highlighting
much nicer than anything else)
