Probably your `noscript' element is the descendant of an inline element like
`span'.  And unless your posting agent is broken, there MUST NOT be
whitespace after the `/' of `</noscript>' or of any other end tag.

The agent is broken.

I guess I solved the problem.
*Before* the script there was an open <p> tag, never closed.

I removed it and passed the page thru the validator, 0 errors this
time.

you need a little understanding of html and JavaScript,

I wasn't implying that you didn't have understanding of html and
javascript.

I just meant that the book I posted required a little understanding of
html and javascript in order for a reader to get some benefit from it.

Anyway, good luck with your site.
