I've updated to "ECMAScript 3rd Edition" and "ECMAScript 5th Edition"
(capital "E" on Edition) and in prose, with a lowercase "e" on edition,
as in "the most widely supported edition" and "The 5th edition".

I did not see any other feedback on the proposed text for "What is a
built-in object." The proposal looks right to me, and is something that
should be added to the FAQ. Any comments before I update the FAQ with that?

built-in objects such as undefined, NaN, all of it written sideways in
ascii art-letter. Totally inappropriate way to communicate.

You won't regret it. I killfiled him one, then decided to remove that.
That lasted about a month or so before I killfiled him again. Low s/n
ratio, insults, put downs, random whining. Totally not worth it.

A hopeless attempt at making you see.

escape() and unescape() should be in the list, for they have been and
still are in each and every browser and JS shell, they're not part of
any DOM, and both the ES3 and the ES5 specs recognize it so in B2. Add
them with an asterisk and a side note, if you want. But add them.

RegExp(), NaN, Infinity and undefined are also missing from the list,
for no reason. They're both in ES3 and ES5.

IOW, list everything that you can expect to be defined in a conformant
ES3/5 implementation, according to the ES specs.

Or is there any good reason to arbitrarily leave aside these 5
symbols ?
