If you wouldn't mind a personal suggestion - your various
proposals will be better received if you avoid the kind of
sarcastic response like the one in the quoted posting. If
someone is spouting nonsense, the best way to illustrate
that is to respond calmly and rationally, so that the flaws
in their thinking are made clear. Sarcasm hardly ever does
that. A calmer response therefore has two advantages: it
sheds more light on the subject, and people will tend to
respond more positively to other comments you write, which
means you'll get better feedback and discussion.
