You are right that almost no site names C++ to be most popular language. Sometimes it feels to be the most hated and cursed programming language. :)

If to look at lot of such statistic sites then in average most of them say
that C#, Java, PHP and Javascript are currently more used than C++. Python, C and Objective-C are usually listed as less used than C++ but not by much.
