you do, there are more jobs for people like me.

Well since none of the links on your site work, I guess that means more work
for people like me, who specialize in fixing websites that've been fucked up
by people like you.

There are really positions for "market shrinking experts"? I suppose village
idiots do need some sort of career path.

You are in denial.... Iso... run to the light... run to the light...

Your village called - they want their idiot back. Mind the oncoming train
now.

Choo choo

Must be an English thing...

Anyway, I do really enjoy talking to you Iso as it re-enforces the fact
that I am headed in the right direction. While I totally agree with you
on just about every issue. I find your answers limited by your
knowledge of corporate USA. This lack of knowledge of popular trends in
corporate America do not surprise me. You can not understand when you
don't work on their sites. And for the kinds of sites you seem to work
with, your philosophy is right on the money. On the type I work on, you
would be laughed out of the office with your ideas.

Sorry, but that is reality.

You talk about corporate USA - I used to sell advertising for the 8th
largest newspaper in the USA and my book of business included companies like
H&R Block and 84 Lumber.

Lets see what you're working on then.
The only thing we've seen is a page with no links.

This would be the corporate USA that spent millions and lost millions on the
dot.com bust. Seems like you think lemmings is a safe strategy. Mind the
cliff on the way down now.

My group currently does contract streaming video and flash
synchronization work for: Turner (Cartoon Network), CNN, the LPGA, the
PGA, Sony, Coke, NAMB, WCOM, MCI, USMC, Southern Baptist Convention,
University of Alabama, UGA, and Dreamworks (for several upcoming
movies). Of course the list changes as we finish and start other
projects.

Do you see a pattern in this list?

www.whitecrestent.com is not my work, it is my fun. And all the links
work fine for me.

Sorry Iso, your words are falling on ears deafened by success doing
exactly what I preach. Know your target audience, and give them what
they want.

If your customer wants mint chocolate chip, don't force them to eat
vanilla because they will spit it back at you and go find some mint
chocolate chip. You seem to have missed that chapter. And even the
blind can eat mint chocolate chip because it is all 508 compliant.

Yup, I see a pattern of a shitload of companies that would *never* let you
do a website for them....
I happen to know Usability consultants that have worked on web projects for
those companies.

Sure you do.

So what? You do streaming video and flash. That does not equate to them
hiring you for your web development abilities (or lack thereof)

I happen to know Usability consultants that have worked on web projects for
those companies.

Oh silly boy, you just refuse to see something sitting right in front of

Some of us are perfectly aware of the (brain-dead) popular
(lemming-like) trends in (retarded) corporate America. We just can't
stand them.

The links in that site produce no obvious effect when first clicked on
(in my case, in the Mozilla browser). This can easily lead visitors to
believe they don't work. However, if you wait patiently for a while,
eventually different text shows up in the main part of the page, I guess
once it finishes loading. You've apparently done some gimmicking to the
status bar to prevent the usual messages that give some clue that
something is loading. Since most Internet users are pretty impatient
(and I'd expect the multimedia-loving types you cater to are probably
more so than average), it's understandable that people will get an
impression that your links don't work.
